Challenge :: Connect the university’s vast internal network of faculty, staff, and students to increase awareness, affinity and involvement with the university’s brand and mission in a way that can be managed and measured for effectiveness.

We worked with the university’s technology and marketing teams to learn what current and past projects had been developed and launched to connect and communicate the university’s mission with their worldwide audience. We also sought out information on previous measurement initiatives to review the effectiveness of those projects. Like many organizations, projects had been launched effectively but no data existed to measure results that could lead to conclusive ROI. The Alexis Agency quickly moved to re-energize one of their projects, the university newsletter, by completely re-creating the design, format, approach, and delivery method.

Results :: The Alexis Agency produced and distributed a three-pronged newsletter campaign that was centrally managed, measured and tracked. The results were unanimous across all three sub-groups as readership and engagement increased every quarter. We created the newsletter with smart design elements and content so it also served as the foundation for quarterly town hall meetings conducted by the university's Chief Academic Officer. Our production, delivery and tracking system allows the client to engage with nearly 36,000 students and faculty, and gives us the ability to track effectiveness from an affinity and monetary viewpoint.
